Building AI Fluency.

The AI Fluency Pathway is a skills-based course that prepares learners to recognize, evaluate, and apply AI in everyday and workplace contexts using practical decision frameworks. Learners build a foundation and fluency in core AI concepts, including machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and supervised and unsupervised learning, then use structured criteria to assess AI-driven solutions and determine when AI is appropriate for a task.

The course emphasizes responsible and effective AI use through ethics, risk management, prompt development, and tool selection. Learners examine issues such as bias, fairness, transparency, explainability, privacy, and data sensitivity; assess and mitigate risks across AI workflows; refine prompts to improve output quality; and select appropriate AI tools based on strengths, limitations, and use-case requirements, culminating in an applied project that integrates governance-aligned decision making.

Complete this self-paced course with experiential learning, including capstone projects. You can earn up to four (4) digital credentials, or badges, in this order:
